Save Our Planet - 101!

Let us put our thoughts together to come up with ideas to save our planet, in our own little way!
Here are some thoughts..
1) Don't print out directions while going somewhere ( for those of us who still survive without GPS),take a minute to write it down at the back on a used envelope!
2) Avoid kitchen towels, use cloth ones, and yes, they do wash clean.
3) Avoid leaving taps running when we dont need the water.
4) Turn off lights when we dont need it,saves the planet and lowers electricity bill.
5) use post-it paper on both sides, just fold over the sticky part when one side is used, the other side makes good scratch paper.
6) before hitting the print button at office, think about it for a second"Do I really need this printed out?",if yes, atleast use double sided print outs!!
7) Walk short distances instead of driving, spare the air, and also, save on the gas bill.
8) PLEASE don't say," it does not matter what I do, I cannot save the planet on my own!", after all, little drops of water make a mighty ocean, isnt it?
We need to make this list grow, please let the comments flow..

Vidya, I finally got around to commenting on this. I am actually proud to say I follow ALL of these! I guess growing up in India where recycling came naturally helps even now. I would add "Pls don't buy bottled water. Just buy one bottle once in a while and refill it with filtered water from the fridge or cooler water in the office since transporting filtered/spring water is not energy efficient not is it good for fresh springs and lakes!"

hey, these tips are so precious that one would really print it out ( sorry !!), write it down on a piece of chart paper to see and follow them most of the time. Surely these are some of little ways we all can apply to save our planet---if we really want our future generation to survive...
And very much thanks for visiting my blog and giving such a sweet and inspiring comment( FOR I REALLY NEEDED ONE !!).Once again, thanks a lot.

What a wonderful list of reminders on how to be green? I appreciate when people think about making a different in this world, which is taken for granted. We always think about what we were going to leave behind for our children like gold, property etc. How about a beautiful planet that we enjoyed while we were here??!!

Hi thanks for looking at my candle tutorial. You asked if the tissue paper should be face down after stamping, Nope just lay it on the candle with the stamped image face up and like magic it works!
